We created Pharmacom with an important and timely mission – to reduce Bulgaria's dependence on foreign medicinal products and food supplements.
For decades, pharmacies and drugstores in our country functioned as sanitary and commercial establishments, regulated by the Law on Public Health and other regulations. Throughout these years, Bulgarian pharmacists waged a constant battle – not only for recognition but also for the right to participate in the creation of their own, modern pharmaceutical production.
Unfortunately, public interests often gave way to the economic goals of external forces. Bulgaria became a market conveniently dependent on imports from countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France – countries that still have an interest in keeping our production in the shadows.
We are here to change that. We believe that Bulgarian knowledge, Bulgarian resources, and Bulgarian labor can create world-class products – in full compliance with GMP standards and with responsibility for people's health.
Our goal is not just to produce. We want to revive the self-esteem, tradition, and innovation in Bulgarian pharmacy. Because we believe that Bulgaria not only can but must be a producer – not just a consumer.

The connection between science and production is becoming more dynamic and closer. Science is increasingly ingrained in production, becoming its heart and soul, and showing the paths and perspectives for the development of the pharmaceutical industry.
Based on a systematic and in-depth analysis, to determine the strategic directions of pharmaceutical production, in order to ensure the achievement of our goals and the maximum use of local resources.
Implementation of effective specialization and cooperation with the European Union and other countries.
Concentration of specialized production and construction of new production facilities that meet the most modern requirements of science and technical progress.
Planning is a key element of our management system, which enables the conscious activity of people to be directed towards the main goal – achieving the highest standard of living with the least possible expenditure of materials, labor, and financial resources.
The pharmacy today should no longer be seen as the sole representative of pharmacy, although in the eyes of the patient, as the front line in drug provision, it is the most popular.
Scientific research and production must move behind it, especially in the creation of new drugs.
Thus, today, under conditions of scientific and technological progress, pharmacy has come out of the framework of the pharmacy, its scope, problems, and tasks have expanded.
